Naps and 2,500 Miles

One word of advice: Don’t give a speech the day that you get back from your vacation.

Yesterday I had to give a 20 minute sermon hours after traveling 2,500 miles. In the middle of preparing I decided to take a nap. It only took 10 minutes of shutting my eyes and the fact that I had an abnormally high heart rate to realize I was not going to sleep. Knowing you are not prepared for something is not a good feeling. If it were up to me, I would rather not have that icky feeling. The good news about all of this is that it actually is my choice.

When was the last time you intentionally chose not to procrastinate?
