What Breaks your Heart?
We sign petitions and retweet other people's words because it means something, but I'm wondering if, in the middle of the 1000 'movements' we are a part of, we've lost the idea of action. From racism, to sexism. From equality, to identity. From gun rights to violent fights we can get attached to good things but it can seem overwhelming. Without even knowing it, we end up putting no action to our words so our passion is reduced down to repost, retweet, or a like.
We are in the last week of our blog series, "Don't Wait". This whole series is about not waiting to start making steps to be the person God meant for you to be. This week the bottom line is this: "Don't Wait if it's breaking your heart".
Where do I start? Can I do more than this? How do I put action behind my passions?
The question which will lead into our challenge this week is this:
What breaks your heart?
This week we are going to focus on one thing, just one, not 14 issues. My goal is that we'd be able to put an action step behind our words this week. This week I want to minimize the issues so that we can maximize our efforts.
I've told my tribe, my facebook group, since the start that we are people of action.
